I swear I'd not recognise my life if it wasn't full of some drama or other.
A couple of weeks ago, I went to my lovely friend Helen and her Sister Ruth's quilting group exhibition. I have seen their work before so I knew the quality of the work would be extraordinary, but I had no idea there would be so much and such incredible workmanship.
The girls have also been making cooling neck ties for soldiers serving in Afghanistan. These have been a resounding success and they have another 100 to make!
The quilt show made £188 for Help for Heroes. Well done girls - that's brilliant.
And Ruth's going through another health drama - sorry to hear about your ongoing ordeal, Ruth, love to you and your family.
This table runner Helen made to match her crockery. I am unable to do this as I break so much crockery!
This quilt was made by the group and will be donated to an injured serviceman. The Americans do this regularly - a real gift of love.
100 year old quilt and the story behind it.
I love these "Wee willy winkie" style figures Ruth made.
